Solution

Project Description
The client wanted an off-the-shelf product for recording the attendance of the employees. This was to be integrated with a variety of punch-clocks.
The product should offer consolidated view to managers to enable effective decision making. It should provide reports to manage and track costs, monitor operational efficiency and help in making decisions. It should also provide alerts which proactively inform user when certain criteria are met, thereby allowing supervisors to view abnormalities in the process.
It should enable automatic and accurate pay calculation as per defined rules allowing consistent policies to be applied to all employees, thereby eliminating administrative time.

Major Issues / Challenges
The constant updation of the system with addition of new clocks & features – including integration to payroll systems like ADP & Paychecks was a challenge.
